Description
Spectacular and emblematic line route of Lauragais, 55 km long, the “Hills of the Wind” connect Avignonet-Lauragais and Fanjeaux. On these first hills of La Piège are planted numerous mills, taking advantage of the generous wind which blows alternately from the Mediterranean (the autan or marin) and the Atlantic (the cers). The view extends far, well beyond the hills, towards the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire. 10 panels provide information on the heritage. Accessible on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike.
