Le Lauragais Basin is crossed by the canal du midi and the river Fresquel. This is the ideal place to indulge in fishing! We mainly catch cyprinids et predators which delight fishermen. Roach, pike, carp, catfish, to name but a few, hide there... The Estrade Dam at La Ganguise is among the number 1 spot to indulge in the practice! You will also find great routes for trout fishing in the Black Mountain.
Lake Régambert
Located in the town of Salles-sur-l'Hers, the Régambert lake is a rejuvenating place in the middle of the labeled countryside Family fishing trip.
Only at 20min de Castelnaudary, it is one of the Aude rallying places for all generations. Small playground, pontoons dedicated to fishing accessible to PRMs, a walking path, all recently renovated!
