Le Cinema de Castelnaudary offers 75 sessions per week distributed in 3 comfortable rooms with 72/129 and 232 seats. A complete fortnightly schedule (Wednesday to Tuesday) for all movie buffs, which brings together blockbusters, Arts & Essay films and also an offer for young audiences.
Personalized festivals and events are organized throughout the year. Among them, two festivals are essential: the British Festival in March and Autumn Cinema in September.

Libraries and media libraries in Lauragais
In Lauragais, 8 libraries and media libraries intercommunales offers spaces to facilitate access to culture and information, including Georges Canguilhem media library in Castelnaudary.
They provide multimedia collections (books, press, CDs, DVDs, games, dematerialized digital resources, works of art, kamishibaï) and digital resources, and support the public in acquiring IT skills and access to collections.
They also offer a programming cultural season multidisciplinary as well as practice times around know-how.
