Impossible to pass through Castelnaudary without stopping at the Castelnaudary marina.
Whether you are a pedestrian, by bike or by boat, the experience will be most pleasant with environmentally friendly facilities accessible to all, which have earned it the Blue Flag, Tourism & Handicap and Accueil Vélo labels.

A breath of fresh air to stroll
along the Canal

Located in the Small Basin, Port of Castelnaudary can currently accommodate 51 barge and pleasure boats in its waters. The Port is surrounded by two bridges which are an inherent part of the heritage jewels of the Canal du Midi: you will see the Old Bridge (end of the XNUMXth century) to jostle Pont Neuf (Eighteenth century).

Don't hesitate to take a look at the Captaincy which is open all year round and accessible to all (Tourism & Handicap label). You will meet Odile there who will warmly welcome you with all the services she offers.

The Port hosts traditional restaurants open during the season, allowing you to enjoy the bucolic setting. You can even have a cassoulet delivered aboard your boat, with your feet under the table!

An environmentally friendly port

Since 2009, the Port has carefully preserved its “ Blue Flag » which is directly linked to sustainable tourism. Specific facilities for boaters are put in place such as the treatment of used water (gray and black) with the aim ofhave as little impact as possible on the environment.

Other services such as toilets, showers, electricity terminals, Wi-Fi accessibility and even a book exchange library are available to boaters passing through or in the process of hibernating.

The sharing of spaces has been studied to ensure pleasant coexistence between river activity and pedestrians.
